A google map of the railway, created because all I seemed to be finding were static maps and the inability to zoom in and the like was frustrating.

- It probably makes most sense to go in 2012
- Hopefully route will be:
- Fly to London
- Take rail through Europe to St. Petersburg the Moscow
- Board the Trans-siberian in Moscow and head to Vladivostok with a detour to Ulaanbaatar
- Take the Eastern Dream ferry to Japan
- Spend a few days in Japan and head home
- Naadam is July 11-13 and it'll probably take a few weeks to get there so departure early to mid June probably makes sense
- A few very helpful links:
- http://www.seat61.com/Trans-Siberian.htm appears to be THE definitive online resource for railway information.
